Battery Trickle Charging

Information

When working or carrying out tests on the vehicle or when the vehicle is in the workshop, a battery charger with a rated current of at least 40 A must be connected.
As soon as the vehicle is unlocked, e.g. the vehicle is in the workshop or salesroom, it must be trickle charged with a battery charging device.

Switch off battery charger.
Switch off ignition and remove remote control (hand-held transmitter).
Switch off all loads (e.g. lights).
Connect the positive cable to the positive terminal for jump-lead starting -+- first, then to the positive terminal of the donor battery.
Connect the negative cable to the negative terminal of the donor battery first, then to the ground point for jump-lead starting - .

Set the charge current on the battery charger according to the battery capacity.
Switch on battery charger.
