Removing Frame For Sliding Roof

  1. Disconnect water drain hoses at the front -1-  and rear -2-  from the water drain brackets of the frame for the sunroof.

  2. Press in locking tabs on both sides -arrows A-  and pull off the electric plug connection for the sunroof motor -arrow B-  .

    NOTE: Sliding-roof frame removed/fitted incorrectly
    • Risk of damage to seats

    → Fold rear seat assembly over and tilt the front-seat backrests back.

  3. Unscrew the fastening screws -2-  at the front of the sliding roof frame -1-  .
  4. Undo the fastening screws -3-  from the frame for the sliding roof -1-  at the sides.
  5. Remove the sliding roof frame -1-  with an assistant and pull it out of the passenger compartment through the door aperture.
