Installing Secondary-Air Pump

Connect air hose -1- and position secondary-air pump on the bracket.

Fit two external Torx screws (M6 x 50) used to secure the secondary-air pump to the bracket. → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
Clip in cable for knock sensor on the secondary-air pump.
Connect plug connection -1- and clip it onto the oil filler neck holder.

Secure cable duct on intake-air distributor for cylinder bank 1-3. To do this, position the cable duct and screw in external Torx screw (M6 x 16). → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
