Installing Compressor-Condenser Line

Information 

Before re-installing the component, check the O-rings of the refrigerant lines for damage and replace them if necessary.

Wet the O-rings of the refrigerant lines with refrigerant oil.

Close off all lines and connections using suitable stoppers during removal.

Do not open the stoppers for the lines and connections until shortly before installation.

Information 

When loosening or tightening the refrigerant lines with line connections,  always counter with the special tool assembly tool 9822  if possible.

When loosening or tightening the refrigerant lines with connections to air-conditioning components (e.g. condenser),  always counter with a size 21 open-ended wrench.

  1. Clip line into the line holder at the top and engage it in the rubber mounting.

  2. Insert compressor-condenser line into the line to the compressor and fasten with the fastening screw -2-  . → Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.) 
  3. Close and engage holder for rubber mounting.
  4. Insert compressor-condenser line into the condenser and fasten it with the fastening screw -1-  . → Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)
