Installing Oil Separator: Notes

Information

Replace O-rings.
Grease O-rings with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No.: 000.043.204.68).

Remove all stoppers from the connection points.
1. 1.1. Grease new O-rings.
Guide in oil separator -1- from inside the passenger compartment and fit it into the oil bracket.

Fit and tighten two external Torx screws (E10, M6 x 20) -3- .

1. 3.1. → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
2. 3.2. Connect positive crankcase ventilation line -2- to the oil separator (locking sound).
3. 3.3. Pull to check that the line is secure.
Connect cable plug for coolant temperature sensor.
Press flange of positive crankcase ventilation line into the bracket with new O-rings.
1. 5.1. Fit and tighten external Torx screw (E10, M6 x 20) -1- .
  → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
2. 5.2. Connect positive crankcase ventilation line to the cylinder head -arrow- .
