Installing Shift And Selector Cables: Notes

Handle shift and selector cables with care. Do not bend or kink the cables as this can damage them over time.

Information

The assembly and transport sleeves that are fitted on the adjustment pins of the shift cable must not be removed until just before you engage the adjustment pins in the gearshift bracket.

Push the shift and selector cables through the bulkhead panel from the interior of the vehicle and fit fastening nuts.
