Installing Oil Separator

  1. Remove all stoppers from the connection points.

    Information 

    • Replace O-rings  .
    • Grease O-rings with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No.: 000.043.204.68)  .
  2. Replace O-rings -2-  on the oil separator -1-  .
    1. 2.1. Grease new O-rings -2-  .

  3. Insert oil separator into the engine compartment from above and fit it on the oil bracket.
  4. Secure the oil separator.
    1. 4.1. Fit fastening screw -4-  on the oil separator.

    2. 4.2. Fit fastening screw -1-  on the oil separator.

    3. 4.3. Tighten fastening screws -4-  and -1-  (depending on type) to Tightening Torque 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.)  or Tightening Torque 13 Nm (9.5 ft. lbs.)  .
  5. Connect crankcase vent line -3-  to the oil separator until the lock engages securely.
