Removing Cover For Front Middle Backrest

  1. Release rear cover.
    1. 1.1. Carefully press the cover out of the backrest shell -1-  using a plastic wedge -2-  to disengage it from the clips -3-  (-arrows-  ).

  2. Release cover at the front.

    1. 2.1. Press cover -1-  together slightly at the sides -arrows B-  and use a plastic wedge -3-  to disengage the locking mechanism -inset-  .
    2. 2.2. Insert your hand in behind the top of the cover -1-  and disengage it by pulling it up out of the backrest frame -2-  (-arrow A-  ).

      Information 

      Carefully disengage cover for front middle backrest. Do not bend the retaining hook.

  3. Disconnect plug connections.
    1. 3.1. Disconnect plug connections for backrest heating -1-  (-arrows-  ).

      Information 

      Mark plug connection assignment before disconnecting the plug connections.
