Re-Imprinting New Vehicle Identification Number

Information 

• Only stamp the vehicle identification number on a cathodic dip-coated sheet metal part. 

1. Stamp the vehicle identification number to be replaced using > VAS 6939 - Steel stamping number set  and the Porsche star > 9693 - Hand-held marking punch  in the space provided for this purpose.Refer to:  TOOLS  . 
2. Mask imprinted vehicle identification number.
3. Paint using exterior paint.
4. Remove the vehicle identification number mark.
5. Paint repair area with clear lacquer.
