Installing Dashboard Bracket

Secure the dashboard bracket.

1.1. Clip in electric lines -1- on the right side of the dashboard bracket -2- .

1.2. Guide dashboard bracket into the body and align it according to the markings.

When guiding in the bracket, make sure that the fastening bolts for the heating/fresh-air unit engage in the bores in the dashboard bracket.

1.3. Screw on the fastening nuts at the sides -1- and tighten to Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) until secure.
1.4. Screw in the bottom fastening screw at the right on the tunnel -2- and tighten to Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) until secure.
1.5. Screw in the outer fastening screw -3- and tighten to Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) until secure.

1.6. Screw on the fastening nuts -1- for the heating/fresh-air unit and tighten to Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) until secure.

Secure wire harness for dashboard.

2.1. Plug in plug connection for dashboard at the connection point on the left A-pillar until it engages securely.
2.2. Plug in plug connection for dashboard at the connection point on the right A-pillar until it engages securely.
2.3. Plug in plug connection for the blower power supply until it engages securely.
2.4. Plug in plug connection for the blower power supply on the heating/fresh-air unit until it engages securely.

2.5. Clip in fixing clips -1- for wire harness at the heating/fresh-air unit.
