Installing Wire Harness For Power Seats

Information 

• When routing the wire harness, make sure that it is routed without tension  .

Information 

The wire harnesses are supplied as maximum equipment. Tie branches which are not needed and stow noise away safely.

1. Guide the section of the line over the seat adjustment mechanism through the backrest as far as the mounting for the side airbag.
2. Re-connect plug connections.
   1. 2.1. Connect electric plug connection to the motor for front vertical adjustment -A-  until the connector engages securely.
   2. 2.2. Connect electric plug connection to the motor for rear vertical adjustment -B-  until the connector engages securely.

   3. 2.3. Slide connector insert into the connector housing until the connector insert engages securely -C-  . Fit a new tie-wrap on the connector housing in order to secure the cables.
   4. 2.4. Slide electric plug connection into the mounting -D-  until the connector engages securely.
   5. 2.5. Connect electric plug connection -E-  until the connector engages securely. Attach the plug connection to the wire harness using a tie-wrap.
   6. 2.6. Connect electric plug connection -F-  until the connector engages securely.
   7. 2.7. Connect electric plug connection -G-  until the connector engages securely.
   8. 2.8. Connect electric plug connection -H-  until the connector engages securely.
   9. 2.9. Connect electric plug connection -I-  until the connector engages securely.
   10. 2.10. Slide clamp with wire harness onto the tab.
   11. 2.11. Connect electric plug connection to the motor for seat adjustment -K-  .

3. Fit new tie-wraps at the marked positions.

4. Secure holder for seat memory control unit

5. Plug central connector into the mounting on the holder for the seat memory control unit.
