Assembling Backrest Frame

→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

→ Observe specified tightening torques.

→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

Information 

Always replace the fastening screws on the front seat after customer service and reworking. The micro-self-locking or self-tapping screws must not be treated, greased or loosened and then screwed on again.

Two persons are needed to remove and install the backrest frame.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.

   Tightening torque for fastening screw securing backrest frame to seat frame Tightening torque 34 Nm (25 ftlb.) +/-4 Nm (+/-3 ftlb.)
