Removing Rear Trailing Arm

  1. Remove brake air spoiler.

    1. 1.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 1.2. Move brake air spoiler in direction of travel -arrow A-  and remove it by pulling it downwards -arrow B-  .
  2. Loosen level sensor linkage -1-  from the holder on the trailing arm -2-  .

    1. 2.1. Screw off fastening nut and counter at the square part of the ball joint while doing this.
    2. 2.2. Pull linkage out of the holder.
  3. Remove trailing arm -1-  .

    1. 3.1. Mark the position of the camber eccentric adjuster -2-  on the rear-axle carrier side section.
    2. 3.2. Loosen threaded connections -2 to 4-  .
