Installing Rear TPM Antenna
Information
Before installing the antenna, visually check the antenna and plug connection with regard to the following points:
- Damage to the housing .
- Damage to the contacts on the antenna .
- Damage to the connector and contacts on the vehicle wire harness .
- Dirty contacts .
If the antenna is damaged, replace it.
If the wire harness, connector or contacts are damaged, repair them in accordance with the relevant safety instructions using the Repair kit for Cayenne wire harnesses NR.155-2 .
If the contacts are dirty, clean them.
- Slide the screwing tabs of the TPM antenna over the studs and secure with plastic nuts -1-
.
- 1.1. Connect electric plug connection for TPM antenna -arrow- until the connector locks securely. → Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (2 ftlb.)
