WM 442655 Replacing Tire Sealing Compound (All Models): Information
The tire sealing compound is stored in a storage bin (plastic box) -arrow- in the front luggage compartment.
The tire sealing compound must be replaced every 4 years to guarantee the sealing effect in the event of minor damage to the tires.
The expiry date can be found on the base of the compressed air bottle.
The Driver's Manual for the vehicle describes its use in detail (sealing of tire in the event of minor slashing damage). The compressed air bottle is also supplied with instructions.
The sealant is highly flammable and hazardous to health. Warnings to this effect are printed on the bottle and given in the Driver's Manual.
