Preliminary Work

Jack and raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.

Remove the relevant front wheel.

Remove front underbody panelling → 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT COVER .
Loosen suspension/stabilizer at the anti-roll bar (so that there is sufficient clearance in the area for removing the drive shaft).
Remove diagonal braces.
