Notes About Adjustment Work On The Spring Struts

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2013 Porsche 911, 2012 Porsche 911, 2011 Porsche 911, 2010 Porsche 911, and 2009 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The spring strut has a thread and a height-adjusting nut for adjusting the height of the vehicle. The height-adjusting nut is prevented from turning by the lock nut.

The height-adjusting nut and the grooved nut are not available as spare parts (these are supplied with replacement dampers).

- Pre-set dimension for production: 192 mm (plus/minus 1 mm). The dimension may be different for the prescribed vehicle height. If the vibration damper is to be replaced, the existing dimension must be set on the new vibration damper.
