Preliminary Work

Jack and raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
→ 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE .
Remove the relevant front wheel
→ 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL .

→ 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL WITH CENTRAL BOLT .
Remove underbody covers.
→ 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY .

→ 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY .

→ 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY .
Remove subframe -1- and tray -5- for the fuel tank.
1. 4.1. Unscrew M6 hexagon-head bolts -2- for the coolant pipes.
2. 4.2. Screw off M10 fastening nuts -3- and M10 screws -4- .
3. 4.3. Swivel the subframe -1- down and disengage the retaining straps for the fuel tank -arrows- .
4. 4.4. Remove tray for fuel tank -5- in a downward direction.
