Installing Front Three-Point Belt

Information 

• The seat-belt pretensioner may only be installed when the ground terminal of the vehicle battery is disconnected. 
• The vehicle battery may only be re-connected after the seat belt has been re-installed. 
• Ensure that belt strap can run properly!

1. Guide the seat belt at the left to the door sill. -arrow A-  Turn the fitting 180 degrees (clockwise) -arrow B-  .
   1. 1.1. Tighten fastening screw.
2. Guide the seat belt at the right to the door sill. -arrow A-  Turn the fitting 180 degrees (anti-clockwise) -arrow B-  .
   1. 2.1. Tighten fastening screw.

3. Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
4. Fastening screw on door sill. Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) 

   Fastening screw securing fitting to B-pillar. Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) 

   Fastening screw for belt retractor. Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
