Installing Clutch

Information
- Clean the friction surfaces of the flywheel and clutch pressure plate prior to installation with brake cleaner or solvent naphtha.
- Surfaces of friction linings must be free from contamination, especially oil and grease.
Information
- Tighten fastening screws uniformly and in diagonally opposite sequence in several steps.
- Always replace fastening screws.
- Centering mandrel 9102 with the drive plate must be inserted into the guide joint (needle sleeve).
- Fit pressure plate with new screws according to specification.
- 2.1. Tightening level 1: Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
- 2.2. Tightening level 2: Torque angle 90° +/-2°
- Remove the centering mandrel.
