Removing Clutch Slave Cylinder

- Release return line at the clutch slave cylinder -1-
(-A-
) and pull it off the bleeder valve at the same time -B-
.
- 1.1. Then, insert bleeding tool 9781 -2-
, set to Closed position (knurled screw turned clockwise as far as it will go), into the return line -C-
.
Brake fluid will emerge for a short time until the return line is closed (soak up brake fluid using a lint-free cloth).

, set to Closed position (knurled screw turned clockwise as far as it will go), into the return line -C-

- Release the safety clip -1-
from the line on the clutch slave cylinder -A-
(move it carefully as far as it will go/as shown).
- 2.1. Pull the line out of the connection -B- .
- 2.2. Close off the line and connection bore in the clutch slave cylinder.
- Loosen the external Torx (E12) fastening screws (M8 x 30) -1-

Information
The following tools can be used in the following sequence for loosening and tightening the fastening screws:
- 3/8-inch change-over ratchet with extension of approx. 250 mm, universal joint, extension of approx. 75 mm and external Torx insert (E12).
- 3.1. Remove clutch slave cylinder from the transmission housing.
