Adjusting caster

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2005 Porsche 911, 2004 Porsche 911, 2003 Porsche 911, 2002 Porsche 911, and 2001 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The caster is not adjustable on standard vehicles. In the event of repairs, a caster adjustment facility can be installed if necessary (as with the Boxster). Refer to INSTALLING CASTER ECCENTRIC for a description and for requirements.

NOTE: The steering angle sensor must be calibrated if the previous wheel alignment values for vehicles with PSM (Porsche Stability Management) were changed!
