Removing and installing trims units with PSM

TRIMS WITH PSM REMOVING AND INSTALLING PROCEDURE

No. Designation Qty. Removal Installation
1 Cam 2 Turn 90° and remove. Position and turn 90°.
2 Interior light 1 Press out. Press in.
3 Fastening screws 3 Unscrew. Screw in.
4 Trim units 1 Unscrew fastening screws -3-  . See Fig 1 . Screw in fastening screws -3-  . See Fig 1 .
5 Holder 2    
6 Holder 2    
7 Trim units 1 Unscrew fastening screws-3-  . See Fig 1 . Screw in fastening screws -3-  . See Fig 1 .
8 Trim units 1 Turn cam -1-  . See Fig 1 . Turn cam -1-  . See Fig 1 .
NOTE:
  • When replacing the trim units -4, 7- the recesses -A, B, C, D- must be knocked out in accordance with the vehicle equipment. See Fig 1 .
  • A = recess for CD changer. See Fig 1 .
  • B = recess for CD amplifier. See Fig 1 .
  • C = recess for amplifier. See Fig 1 .
  • D = recess for PSM. See Fig 1 .
