Sealing ring for differential - Removing and installing halfshaft flange: Removal

  1. Remove right halfshaft flange. To do this, place a chisel or spacer "A" under the halfshaft flange and pull out the halfshaft flange by turning the screw "B".

    NOTE: Pull out left halfshaft flange by screwing in the hexagon-head bolts "A" on alternate sides. The bolts must be supported on the rib reinforcements of the cover (see Fig 2 ).

  2. Lever out sealing ring using a suitable tool.
