Removing and installing the viscous clutch: Removal

- Remove cardan shaft (refer to Removing and installing cardan shaft ).
- Remove final drive at the front (refer to Removing and installing front final drive ).
- Clamp final drive into the vice with special tool VW 457, drain oil and remove the long-neck pipe.
- Remove snap ring and take out viscous clutch with supporting ring.
