Removing sealing ring for cardan flange

  1. Remove cardan shaft. Refer to Removing and installing cardan shaft  .
  2. Engage parking lock and firmly set the parking brake.
  3. Remove collar nut with special tool socket wrench 9669.

  4. Pull off cardan flange with three-arm puller 112-1.
  5. Lever out the sealing ring with special tool hook VW 681.
