Adjusting wiper arm attack angle

Angle measuring device
Adapter
Angle adjusting tool - holder
Angle adjusting tool - arm bracket

Information

Wiper system must be in the parking position. Before starting work, allow the wiper system to run 2 - 3 times with water spray.

WARNING: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Fit adapter -B- for the sports car flush on the wiper arm and tighten with the knurled screw.

Fit the angle measuring device -A- on the adapter and secure with the knurled screw.

Read off wiper arm attack angle using the angle measuring device and compare with the nominal values.

Wiper position	Nominal angle	Tolerance
Parking position on driver's side	+ 5°	+/- 2°
Parking position on passenger's side	+ 3°	+/- 2°

If the nominal values are not achieved, the wiper arm must be adjusted using the two adjusting tools.
Mount both adjusting tools on the wiper arm and adjust the angle to the nominal value by turning the front adjusting tool.
