Removing Guide Rail: Notes

  1. Remove front inner bracket.

    1. 1.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 1.2. Take off front inner bracket -2-  (-arrow A-  ).
    3. 1.3. Remove screw-on plate -3-  from the guide rail -4-  (-arrow B-  ).
  2. Remove rear inner bracket.

    1. 2.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 2.2. Take off rear inner bracket -2-  (-arrow A-  ).
    3. 2.3. Remove screw-on plate -3-  from the guide rail -4-  (-arrow B-  ).
  3. Remove outer bracket.

    1. 3.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 3.2. Take off outer bracket -2-  (-arrow A-  ).
    3. 3.3. Remove screw-on plate -3-  and -4-  from the guide rail -5-  (-arrows B-  ).
  4. Disengage tension spring -1-  from the outer guide rail -2-  (-arrow-  ).

  5. Disengage locking spring -1-  on the fore/aft adjustment lever -2-  (-arrow-  ).

  6. Remove fore/aft adjustment lever.

    1. 6.1. Open locking mechanism -1-  on the seat mounting -2-  (-arrow A-  ).
    2. 6.2. Pull seat mounting -2-  and outer guide rail -3-  out of the fore/aft adjustment lever -4-  (-arrow B-  ).
    3. 6.3. Disengage fore/aft adjustment lever -4-  from the inner guide rail -5-  (-arrow C-  ).
  7. Release inner guide rail -1-  from the seat mounting and remove it -arrow A-  .

  8. Release outer guide rail -2-  from the seat mounting and remove it -arrow B-  .
