Installing Guide Rail (Passenger Seat With Seat Occupancy Detection)

  1. Position outer guide rail -2-  on the seat mounting -arrow A-  and lock it.

  2. Position inner guide rail -1-  on the seat mounting -arrow B-  and lock it.
  3. Move guide rail -1-  and -2-  to the front-most position (parallel) until they engage securely by pressing -arrow A-  the lever -3-  (-arrow B-  ).

  4. Grease inner -1-  and outer guide rail -2-  at the contact points (fore/aft adjustment lever).

  5. Install fore/aft adjustment lever.

    1. 5.1. Engage fore/aft adjustment lever -4-  at the inner guide rail -5-  (-arrow A-  ).
    2. 5.2. Move outer guide rail -3-  by sliding in the seat mounting -2-  until the guide rail is connected to the fore/aft adjustment lever -4-  (-arrow B-  ).
    3. 5.3. Close locking mechanism -1-  on the seat mounting -2-  (-arrow C-  ).
  6. Engage locking spring -1-  on the fore/aft adjustment lever -2-  (-arrow-  ).

  7. Engage tension spring -1-  on the outer guide rail -2-  (-arrow-  ).
