Removing Tunnel Support

  1. Unscrew plug connection for center console -1-  in -direction of arrow-  from the tunnel support -2-  .

  2. Unclip tie-wrap for wire harness -1-  at the tunnel support -2-  by pressing the locking lugs -arrows-  together.

  3. Disengage wire harness -1-  at the tunnel support -2-  (holder) -arrows A-  and slide through towards the rear -arrows B-  .

  4. Unscrew fastening screw -1-  and remove strut -2-  by pulling it down out of the tunnel support -3-  (-arrow-  ).

  5. Unscrew fastening screws at the top -1-  and bottom -2-  of the tunnel support.

  6. Press tunnel support -1-  down slightly -arrow A-  and remove it from the guide on the air conditioning unit -2-  (-arrow B-  ).

  7. Check fastening nuts -1-  and replace them if necessary.
