Preliminary Work

  1. Remove triggering unit for airbag. → 695319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIGGERING UNIT FOR AIRBAG
  2. Remove glove box. → 681519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING GLOVE COMPARTMENT 
  3. Remove PCM display and operator control unit. → 911019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PCM DISPLAY AND CONTROL UNIT
  4. Remove air-conditioning system regulator. → 870219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL
  5. Remove switch console. → 962719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SWITCH CONSOLE
  6. Remove trim panel under dashboard on the driver's side. → 701919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM UNDER DASHBOARD
  7. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .

    Information 

    • Unclip electrical lead in vehicles with a telephone handset. 
  8. Pull unit carrier -2-  towards the rear.
