Removing Control Module For Parkassist

If the ParkAssist control unit has to be replaced, the values from the control unit should first be read out using the PIWIS Tester 9718 . → Programming Control Unit For Parkassist

Push control unit forwards in direction of travel from behind, unclip it, detach it and turn the holder 180°.

Push together the retaining tabs for the control unit and pull the two catches back. Lift control unit up and out.

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
-A- Carefully lever the connector away from the control unit using two screwdrivers.
-B- Carefully lever the connector away from the control unit using one screwdriver.
