→ Prior to disconnecting the control unit, switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
→ Ensure that the power supply is not interrupted during programming.
→ Connect a battery charger with a current rating of at least → Nominal value: 40 A to the vehicle battery.

Follow the instructions on the Tester.
Later versions of the software may display slightly different text or require a slightly different procedure. The instructions you receive from the tester itself take precedence over this description.

- Connect the Porsche System Tester to the vehicle and start the System Tester. Switch on the ignition and press [>>] to continue.
- Select vehicle type using the cursor keys.
- Using the [>>] key, move from the vehicle type to the list of control modules. Perform the automatic control module search.
- Select the relevant control module with the cursor keys and press the [>>] key.

After replacing the loudspeaker amplifier, the new loudspeaker amplifier must also be programmed using the Control unit programming function.
The Control unit programming procedure must be carried out for vehicles for which this function is displayed on the Tester.
Start Control unit programming by pressing [F8], then follow the instructions on the Tester.
- Select Coding using the cursor keys and press [>>].
- Select the variants required for the vehicle, perform coding if necessary by pressing [F8] and follow the instructions on the Tester.

Large bass box (50l) - In the Vehicle type menu, select Control units and then select the Special functions menu.
