Installing Rod Antenna

  1. Push both connectors -A and B-  onto the antenna base until they are felt to engage.

  2. Insert antenna base in the cut-out from below. The bar of the antenna base must be inserted in the guide nut -A-  while doing so.

  3. Insert seal with the locating pins -A-  in the holes -B-  on the antenna base cover.

    Information 

    The seal (arrow) must make contact all the way around on the antenna base cover.

  4. Position antenna base cover -A-  and tighten the fastening nut -B-  . → Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

  5. Screw in antenna rod hand-tight in the antenna base cover.
