Installing The Car Radio

Connect the electric plug connections in the sequence -C, B, A- and the antenna amplifiers -D, E- so that the connectors engage securely.

Check that the locking tabs on the radio are sticking out. Open the locking mechanism with an Allen key if necessary.

Information

Before sliding the PCM/radio into the installation slot, make sure that the electric lines are not trapped by the PCM/radio or damaged.

After installation of a new PCM display and operator control unit/radio, the system must be activated using PIWIS Tester II 9818 . → Programming Display And Operator Control Unit (PCM 3.0)
Push the radio into the installation slot until the locking mechanisms engage on the radio housing.
Screw in the locking screw for the radio and tighten it.
