Information
- Immediately before sticking on, wash off the areas on which you intend to stick the seal using isopropanol to ensure that all traces of silicone, grease and oil are completely removed.
- Clean the paint surface for the stone guard film and rub it dry using a lint-free, moisture-absorbing cloth.
- Moisten the surface to which you want to affix the stone guard film with application fluid after cleaning.
Information
- The film must be affixed immediately after spraying.
- Pull off film for stickers and wet the bonding surface of the film with the application fluid.
- Affix film to the vehicle with the gap dimensions -X-
and press lightly. Slight adjustments to the position can still be made. → Gap dimension: 2 mm-1 mm
Information
- The film must be applied without bubbles, and no water may remain between the paint surface and adhesive.
Information
The adhesive is activated by the pressure of the squeegee. The contact pressure should be at least 2 kg.
- Press the film on from the inside out using a plastic squeegee in order to squeeze out the water.
- After affixing, pull off the thin protective film.
- Dry off the entire surface with a lint-free, moisture-absorbing, non-scratching cloth.
- Check the affixed film for bubbles and defects. The film must be firmly affixed to the vehicle. Check that the corners are affixed correctly (press them down again if necessary).
