Bleeding The Pump Unit

- Hydraulic cylinder, left
- Hydraulic line, short
- Hydraulic cylinder, right
- Hydraulic line, long
- Move both hydraulic cylinders out.
- 1.1. Move both hydraulic cylinders out by the -dimension X-
. → Length: 15 mm+5 mm
To do this, connect the -wide contact- to 8V (+) and the -narrow contact- to ground (--).

Trapped air will escape via the banjo bolt while the hydraulic cylinder moves downwards.

Wipe up emerging Pentosin with a cloth.

Counter at the hydraulic line with an open-ended wrench when tightening the banjo bolt.
- 1.1. Move both hydraulic cylinders out by the -dimension X-
. → Length: 15 mm+5 mm
- Bleed the pump unit via the hydraulic lines on the two hydraulic cylinders.
- 2.1. Slowly open the banjo bolt -2- on one hydraulic cylinder -1- until the hydraulic cylinder -1- moves slowly downwards. As soon as the hydraulic cylinder -1- reaches the lower mechanical stop, tighten the banjo bolt -2- . → Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)
- 2.2. Slowly open the banjo bolt -2- on the second hydraulic cylinder -1- until the hydraulic cylinder -1- moves slowly downwards. As soon as the hydraulic cylinder -1- reaches the lower mechanical stop, tighten the banjo bolt -2- . → Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)
- Press cap -2- onto the hydraulic cylinder -1- .
