Removing Rear Wheel Cover

Information 

  1. Mask the rear apron -1-  and side panel -2-  with adhesive tape -3-  .

  2. Remove wheel cover on the side panel.
    1. 2.1. Heat up wheel cover -1-  on the side panel -2-  with a hot-air blower -4-  (-arrows-  ).
    2. 2.2. Prise wheel cover off the side panel evenly all the way around using an assembly wedge -4-  .

  3. Remove wheel cover on rear apron.
    1. 3.1. Heat up wheel cover -1-  on the rear apron -2-  using a hot-air blower -3-  (-arrows-  ).
    2. 3.2. Prise wheel cover off the rear apron evenly all the way around using an assembly wedge -4-  .

  4. Remove adhesive residue.
    1. 4.1. Pull off adhesive tape -1-  .
    2. 4.2. Remove adhesive residue -A-  in the installation area using an erasing disc.
    3. 4.3. Scrape off adhesive residue -B-  on the wheel cover -2, 3-  using a metal scraper.
    4. 4.4. Clean bonding surfaces with isopropanol.
