→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

Unlike lead batteries, lithium-ion batteries do not contain sulphuric acid as an electrolyte. Instead, the fluid used here is made up of the constituents ethylene carbonate, ethyl methyl carbonate and lithium hexafluorophosphate and is bound in the separator.
