Removing Carbon Canister - USA Variant

  1. Remove the carbon canister.
    1. 1.1. C2/USA variant

      1. 1.1.1. Disconnect cable plug on canister -1-  .
      2. 1.1.2. Unscrew two internal Torx screws M6x25 -2-  from plastic holder for the carbon canister and press holder -3-  from guide in direction of travel.
    2. 1.2. C4/USA variant

      1. 1.2.1. Unscrew internal Torx tapping screw -2-  from the carbon canister -1-  .
      2. 1.2.2. Unclip and disconnect the cable plug -2-  on the carbon canister.

      3. 1.2.3. Prise the holder -arrows-  out of the guide using an assembly wedge.
  2. Disconnect carbon canister.

    1. 2.1. Lift carbon canister, release the small plug-in coupling -2-  and pull it off.
    2. 2.2. Release large plug-in coupling -1-  and pull it off.
