Preliminary Work

Place protective covers on the vehicle to avoid damaging the vehicle.
Disconnect the battery.

Remove luggage compartment cover.
→ 700519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT - section on "Removing".
Remove cover for access to the fuel level sensor.
1. 4.1. Screw off four M6 nuts -2- and remove the cover.
2. 4.2. Check seal and replace it if necessary.
