Installing clamping pieces

  1. Push clamping pieces (USA version) -1a-  or (Canada version) -1b-  sideways onto the front bumper -3-  .

  2. Adjust clamping pieces (USA version) -1a-  .
    1. 2.1. Determine the centre of the front bumper -3-  .
    2. 2.2. Position clamping pieces (USA version) -1a-  with gaps of -A-  . → Gap dimension: 160 mm+1 mm 
  3. Adjust clamping pieces (Canada version) -1b-  .
    1. 3.1. Position clamping pieces (Canada version) -1b-  flush with the outer edge of the front bumper -3-  .
  4. Secure clamping pieces (USA version) -1a-  (Canada version) -1b-  with the fastening screws -2-  to the front bumper -3-  . → Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
