Installing Hydraulic Valve For Camshaft Control

Information 

  1. Install solenoid hydraulic valve.
    1. 1.1. Coat O-ring on the hydraulic valve with new engine oil.
    2. 1.2. Insert hydraulic valve into the cylinder head. Check the installation position while doing this.
    3. 1.3. The ball pin on the valve -arrow-  must be seated in the socket in the cylinder head.

  2. Position the retainer plate and fit and tighten two external Torx screws (E10, M6 x 20).

    → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
