Installing Intake Camshaft For Oil Guide Housing

→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.

→ Clean or replace dirty components.

Information

The oil guide housing of cylinder rows 1-3 and 4-6 differ in height → Oil guide housing.

Assembly is only required if the oil guide housing was removed from the camshaft.

Fit oil guide housing on the camshaft.
1. 1.1. Check the metal plain compression rings for visible and obvious signs of wear and replace them if necessary.
2. 1.2. Lightly oil the inside of the oil guide housing.
3. 1.3. Push the oil guide housing over the three metal plain compression rings on the camshaft. Press the sealing rings together by hand.
