Subsequent Work

  1. Install camshafts.

    → 150520 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CAMSHAFTS (INCLUDES SETTING TIMING) .

  2. Install cover for camshaft housing.

    → 159119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CAMSHAFT HOUSING .

  3. Install rear silencer.

    → 263319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SILENCER .

  4. Remove engine from assembly support using an engine lift and set it down on the lifting platform. Get another person to help you do this.
  5. Screw off screw sleeves for the engine support on the engine/transmission flange and remove support.
  6. Mount transmission.

    → 343527 REMOVING AND MOUNTING TRANSMISSION .

  7. Install engine.

    → 100119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE .
