Installing The Condenser

- Insert condenser into the retaining bracket and clip it into place -A- .
- Engage the condenser on the radiator bracket and secure with the fastening screw -3-
. → Tightening torque: 4 Nm (3 ftlb.)
Information
When loosening or tightening the refrigerant lines with line connections , always counter with the special tool assembly tool 9822 if possible.
When loosening or tightening the refrigerant lines with connections to air-conditioning components (e.g. condenser) , always counter with a size 21 open-ended wrench.
Information
Before re-installing the component, check the O-rings of the refrigerant lines for damage and replace them if necessary.
Wet the O-rings of the refrigerant lines with refrigerant oil.
Close off all lines and connections using suitable stoppers during removal.
Do not open the stoppers for the lines and connections until shortly before installation.
- Carefully insert the refrigerant lines into the condenser and secure with the fastening screws -2- . → Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)
- Engage air guide on condenser -A- and screw down using the two fastening screws -1- . → Tightening torque: 4 Nm (3 ftlb.)
