Subsequent Work For ELV Control Unit

  1. Install the steering column. → Installing The Steering Column 
  2. Carry out work instruction after disconnecting the battery. → 2706IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY
  3. If a new ELV (electronic steering column lock) control unit was installed, it must be taught using PIWIS Tester II 9818.  See section entitled PROGRAMMING ELV CONTROL UNIT .
