Installing Sealing Ring For Front Halfshaft Flange

Grease the sealing ring.
Fill the space between the dust and sealing lips on the new sealing ring -arrow- with grease, e.g. Liqui-Moly.

Use a Pressure Piece 9537 to drive the sealing ring into the cover for final drive -1- until it is flush.

Install halfshaft flange.
1. 3.1. Replace circlip -A- for the halfshaft flange. To do this, clamp the halfshaft flange in the vice with a hexagon-head bolt -B- and press the circlip out with the new circlip -A- .

2. 3.2. Grease circlip -A- for easier fitting.
3. 3.3. Tap the halfshaft flange -arrow- into the final drive using a rubber hammer.
