Securing Torque Converter

  1. Rotate engine to TDC mark.

  2. Screw in two converter fastening screws through the starter opening.
    Location Description Type Basic value Tolerance 1 Tolerance 2
    Torque converter Fastening screw between torque converter and driver plate Tightening torque 39 Nm (29 ft. lb.)

  3. Turn the engine a further 120° clockwise.
  4. Screw in two converter fastening screws through the starter opening.

    Torque converter Fastening screw between torque converter and driver plate Tightening torque 39 Nm (29 ft. lb.)

  5. Turn the engine a further 120° clockwise.
  6. Screw in two converter fastening screws through the starter opening.
