Removing the antenna amplifier

Remove the respective trim of the A-pillar. Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM OF A, B AND C-PILLARS, - AS OF MY 1997 .

Unplug the antenna plug for the windscreen -1- and -2- . See Fig 1 .
Unplug the plug connections for the antenna control unit -3, 4- on the left side, -3, 4, 5- on the right side. See Fig 1 .
Unscrew both fastening screws -6- . See Fig 1 .
